Fun Run

Today we joined with AES and participated in the Fun Run for Relay for Life. We got to run, dance, eat snow cones, and we used sidewalk chalk to write the names of our loved ones who, have, have had, or who have passed away from cancer.  Thank you to all the parents who came out to walk with us!!

Bird Feeders

This week in celebration of Earth Day we are learning about ways we can recycle. Today, we recycled empty toilet paper rolls and made them into bird feeders! I can't wait for them to take these home and hang them outside!

Alabama History

This week we have been learning about Alabama history and today we got to learn with iPADS and QR codes!! It makes learning so much fun when you get to use iPADS!!

Fine Arts Night

This week we had Fine Arts Night. Thank you to all the parents who came out to support your child. I hope you enjoyed seeing the art work they have made this year and I know you loved their performance!! They did such a great job. We are truly blessed to have music and art this year and we have a fabulous teacher for each of these classes!! Monday night proved how hard these ladies and all the kids have worked this year!! Thank you Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Scott for your dedication to our school and kids!

Easter Egg Hunt

Even construction couldn't keep us from Easter egg fun! We just stayed in and hid our eggs there! It made this OCD teacher a little nervous letting 18 kids run wild but we all survived and had lots of fun!!

Animal Show

A few weeks we had some creepy crawly visitors and the kids LOVED them!!

Easter Egg Hunt

There is a note coming home today. Please send a basket (no grass please) and eggs filled with candy on Friday for our Easter egg hunt. If you want to send a treat for snack that day you may send that on Friday too. Thanks!!
