Next week we will begin a math chapter on measurement. To introduce this chapter we played a fun game. We rolled our cars and measured the distance they traveled. Then we compared them to see who's car rolled the farthest and the shortest distance.

Writing Folders
These are our writing folders. We started using them after Christmas and I LOVE them! The kids are really enjoying them, they are so helpful. I found all these freebies on the internet I will post the links if anyone wants them! :)
These are the front of the word cards that we make before we start writing about different topics. These are very helpful the kids can look back at these anytime they need to know how to spell a word.
On the back we talk about words, as a class, that we may need to know how to spell.
Greater Than/Less Than
I found these cute alligators that were the perfect way to introduce our new math chapter.
Our anchor chart.
We had fun using our new "tool".
Groundhog Day
This was our prediction graph we made on Friday! All but one of my students knew he would see his shadow! They are SO smart! :)
Here are a few facts we knew about groundhogs.
Here is a cute book we made.
This is our drawing of our prediction and then the results.
